Sustainability

To care about nature is in our nature.

We believe sustainable living is not a step backwards but a step forward. We use sustainable methods during construction, even if it comes with extra investments than usual. It is quite rare that you will witness such strong commitment from a developer that puts values above profits. All of this without any extra burden or hike in the selling price.

As much as we care about water supply in abundance, at the same time we believe that every drop counts.

Hence, we, have established water conservation systems for efficient water usage and to avoid unnecessary wastage.

Rainwater harvesting is one of our many measures to conserve water. We have set simple processes to conserve rainwater by collecting, storing, conveying, and purifying rainwater that runs off from rooftops, parks, roads, open grounds, etc. for later use.

  • During heavy rains, the water does not get absorbed by some surfaces which leads to its contamination and encourages floods. We have set the right storm water drainage infrastructures to avoid this situation.
  • We, have installed sewage treatment plants to purify contaminated sewage water generated from households. This process not only reduces the pollutants discharged into the drains but also provides ample water for flushing and gardening.
  • The plumbing fixtures are done with keeping water saving on priority even if it comes with extra investments than usual.

All these measures ensure that the water bills as well as third-party dependency for water is reduced.

We are not here to add to the concrete jungle and thus extra efforts have been taken to reduce carbon emissions while project construction.

  • The entire red brick manufacturing to usage process is heavy on carbon footprint. We use ACC blocks from Ascolite, which is a zero-discharge policy company. Using ACC helps in reducing the dead load of the building thereby reducing steel usage and also the carbon footprint.
  • River sand mining is banned/heavily discouraged because it is a finite natural resource and acts as a natural embankment for the river’s ecosystem. Due to excessive sand mining, flooding has increased. We have replaced our sand intake by 70% and aim to reduce it even further.
  • We use fly ash which is a by-product of coal processing is the concrete mix. It helps in reducing the heat absorbed by the building.
  • We also use GGBS, which is a by-product of the steel industry and allows 60% cement replacement. It is great for waterproofing and also ensures that the building structure absorbs less heat and stays cool.
  • We have increased the height of the top floor to let the hot air escape and treated the terrace slab with geotextile plus waterproofing to avoid leakage.
